You are a guest in a living room with the windows open. Everything you write here is public, and anyone walking past can read along.
The test
Would you say it out loud with the host, their family, and a donor sitting next to you on the sofa? If yes, you are in the right place.
Rule 1
Only free donations
A donation is a gift, nothing more. It has no price, no task attached, and no deal behind it. Asking for money in exchange for something — a promise to do, deliver, unlock, or keep going — is not a donation, and it is not allowed here. The only thing a gift may bring back is a thank-you: afterwards, freely given, and never owed.
The test
Would the person paying get something they would not have received without paying? Then it is a sale, not a donation — and it does not belong here.
Rule 2
Donors come first
Plenty of people would like to receive. Far fewer are willing to give. This room is built around the people who give, so their comfort comes first. Anything that would make a donor want to leave is not just clumsy — it is against the rules.
The test
After reading your message, would a donor rather leave than stay? Then the message does not belong here.
Rule 3
Contact stays in the app
There is no public email address, no Telegram group, and no private side channel. If you want to reach 21.gifts or anyone in this room, do it here in the app — nowhere else.
Welcome
The things that make donors want to stay.
- A thank-you: short, specific, and without the next request attached.
- A calm, honest note that makes giving feel easy rather than heavy.
- A quiet tone — no escalation, no countdown, no audience.
- Questions about how gifting works here, and patient answers to them.
- Humor and warmth that put no one under pressure.
- Honoring a note that meant something to you — freely, and without the author asking for it.
- One message a day that shows your situation as it really is — with several photos in it if they help. Nobody here wants a prettier picture: donors come to see reality, unfiltered.
Allowed
Fine, as long as the three rules hold. Allowed is not the same as welcome.
- Saying plainly what your situation is. Unfiltered is fine — pressure is not.
- Talking about Bitcoin when it helps someone in the room and pushes no one to pay.
- Other languages. Reading along. Staying silent.
- Your name and Wallet of Satoshi address on your profile — not repeated in every message.
- “I cannot give right now.” That is a complete sentence, and it needs no explanation.
Better not
Not a ban yet. Repeat it or turn up the volume, and it becomes one.
- The same request, posted again.
- A long story of hardship where one sentence would have done.
- Photos spread over several messages. Pictures that belong together go into one message, with text.
- Price talk, trading tips, showing off your stack.
- Orange-pilling someone who is giving — or who cannot give.
- “Message me privately.”
- Correcting beginners.
- Any message that is more about the recipient than about respect for the donor.
- Several messages a day about the same situation. Whether more than one is appropriate depends on the context.
Forbidden
No warning, no debate. These messages are removed and the account is blocked.
Asking for something in return (rule 1)
- Money for a task — “for ₿5,000 I will draw you.”
- Money for content — “I keep posting if you donate.”
- Money for access — unlocks, subscriptions, files sent after payment.
- Taking commissions — advice, a logo, homework, “I will do X for you.”
- Selling — merch, tokens, a course, “an interesting project.”
- A deal in disguise — “donate and I will mention you,” “whoever gives most gets …”
Driving donors away (rule 2)
- Relentless asking — every day, in series, your address in every line.
- Dramatizing — superlatives and staged scenes instead of the real situation.
- Pressure — a countdown, “by tonight,” “or else.”
- Guilt — “if you really wanted to help,” ranking donors, calling out people who did not give.
- Soft extortion — “I will only stop writing when …”
Also banned
- Scams, fake wallets, impersonation, asking anyone for a seed phrase, a key, or a code.
- Illegal content, sexual content involving minors, gore, pornography, shock material.
- Doxxing, threats, stalking, hate against a person or a group.
- Spam, advertising, recruiting, extra accounts created to collect more gifts.
- Posing as the 21.gifts team. Support will never write to you in the forum.
Our house
This room exists because donors choose to stay. Recipients are guests in a space that was set up for the people who give — not the other way around. We remove messages and block accounts without a hearing and without a debate about tone. If you want to reach us, contact 21.gifts in the app.
These rules are not terms of service and not the law. They simply say what 21.gifts is: a donation platform. Turning it into a shop, a job board, or a stage for begging is not the wrong tone. It is the wrong house.
