What 21.gifts stands for

In the forum, people can ask for help and donate Bitcoin to one another. Three convictions stand behind 21.gifts.

Freely you have received; freely give.

Matthew 10:8

1

Giving is part of faith

For us, giving is part of the Christian faith. In Matthew 6:2, Jesus speaks of giving as something we naturally do. First John 3:17 and James 2:17 also remind us not to leave people in need alone. How much we give is something we decide for ourselves before God (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Help does not always mean giving money. Sometimes a conversation, a visit or a warm coat is what counts. Matthew 25 reminds us of people who are hungry, sick, strangers or in prison. 21.gifts makes one form of help possible: a money donation directly from one person to another.

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

1 John 3:18

2

Directly from person to person

You choose whom you donate to. The person has added their wallet address so your Bitcoin donation reaches them. 21.gifts takes no share. They can keep using their address without our website.

3

Why Bitcoin?

With Bitcoin you can send even small amounts to people in other countries. The person needs a wallet address for this. You pay with your wallet; 21.gifts does not hold the donation.
